    Here we go:

Is the water turned on? Is the water filter clogged? Have you verified that water is getting to the valve? Is the float stuck in the UP position? Is it trying to heat with no water in it? Is the water fill valve getting power? If it’s getting power, is there water coming out of it? If the valve is NOT getting power, have you checked input power to the water control board? If you’re getting water to the valve, the board IS getting power, the float is NOT stuck in the UP position, but there’s no power to the valve, have you ohmed the float switch? If you’re getting water to the valve, the board IS getting power, the float is NOT stuck in the UP position and there’s power to the valve, but still no water coming out of the valve, then the valve is bad. If you’re getting water to the valve, the board IS getting power, the float is NOT stuck in the UP position and there’s power to the valve and water coming out of the valve, then there’s a blockage inside the boiler.  It might be scaled up. Have you checked the boiler for scale buildup? When is the last time it was descaled?

There might be more questions after you employ your VOM and your eyeballs to check all these things.  Get back with us with the results if you still haven’t solved the problem.
