is there a tech i can talk to?
Electronic or mechanical temp control?
With mechanical control,
You should have a time clock under the cabinet that looks like this;
It turns the compressor off and the heaters on. 3 times per day. Understand that the fans will not come on till the evaporator coil is cold. There is a bi metal disc switch attached to the evaporator coil end. This switch not only energizes the fan, but terminates the defrost heat.
With electronic LAE control, it is all controlled by the temp control. Thermistors sense both box temp and coil temp. The back of the control Has the wiring for that. Be aware that they also have a delay for compressor starting of 6 min. Some also reverse fans for coil cleaning and only run fans to test box temp every 15 min till there is a call for cooling. they look like this;
Tell me what you symptoms are. The nameplate has the amps for the heaters.
