WHAT CAN I DO?
I assume you are talking about a CK 301. If another model please let me know. Like a CA
For the CK 301;
When you say it doesn't cut, do you mean the motor starts but will not cut, or do you mean that the machine powers up and gives you a SE code on the display and the motor does not start.
The first means a dull, plugged blade, broken blade or drive, or motor reversed. The last 3 require a service tech. The first one you can replace the blade or clean it.
The second one is just a safety not being made. First off, I need to know what head you are using. Vegtable cutter or cutter head. When powered up does your machine show a CA or CU in the display? Now press and hold the on button while watching the display. If it shows a d1, d2, or d3, You have a open safety. d1 is the bayonet at the bottom is not locked. for the bowl. d2 is the cutter or veg cutter detector. d3 is the handle detector.
If your machine shows a E code, Push the off button, unplug the machine for a minimum of 30 seconds, repower and try again. If the code will not clear, call Sammic at 1 844 275 3848or you can find your rep at https://www.sammic.us/mafsi
In the mean time, You get to be very intimate with your chefs knife.
With CA301 Refer to the troubleshooting section of this manual.
