I am trying to find information on what the minimum water purge would be on a Manitowoc QY0274a would be and how to set it for that minimum.
The purge on the under-counters are preset by design. They use a float valve to keep the sump full, and when it goes into harvest the pump stops. This causes the circulating water to come down into the pan that is already full and any excess goes out the overflow for purge. Manuals are available on the partstown home page. 3 boxes top right.
If you reduce a lot of time of purging the machine will be loaded with minerals and then you will have failures due to formation of minerals in the corduroy and sensors.
