Unit seems to do this every couple months. The red light pops up, customer resets and it works about a week then alarm again. Short freeze cycle, why? Low refrigerant causing a colder line and unit harvests to early?
The machine needs cleaning. Especially the ice thickness probe.
Yeah that's what I figured so I cleaned and sanitized. Unit seemed to be fine when I left. If it's not I am sure I will know in a couple days.
Are they a bakery or pizza place by chance? If so, remind them the wild yeast in the air will foul up their machine much faster than places that don't work with dough. Or don't and just wait for their inevitable call
The Prodigy's do this all the time if they don't have proper water filtration. All one has to do is pull the front cover and watch the LED's. especially the harvest sensor. Tell's you right away.
