Can a Turboair glass door refrigerator be left in a garage that would be subject to freezing temperatures? If not is unplugging it enough or would it be needed to be moved to a non-freezing location?
If its not running it should be fine, might even be fine to keep it running. the Manual should specify the ambient operating temp or give you a warning if some type of operating condition is unsfafe.
Nothing will really suffer from freezing in the fridges, just needs to be allowed to wake up and thaw up when you put it back in use.
The machine will function fine and not freeze due to the fan motor heat providing the door gaskets are good. It should not be a problem inside a garage unless it gets below 10 F. It has a cap tube system and a hard start high temp compressor that will work in that range.
