I have a DC33 and it started making a high pitched whine that is getting louder. It makes ice just fine.
Lubricate or replace the condenser fan motor.
I forgot to ask you if you have a auxiliary drain pump. This to can make a noise if the bearings are going or if some foreign object got into it. But that only runs when it drains water. You can find the manual for this machine here: http://download.partstown.com/is-bin/intershop.static/WFS/Reedy-PartsTown-Site/-/en_US/manuals/MXCD-MXM-R-F_iom.pdf
Understand that this machine 15 inch under counter was made for the high end home market. Not commercial.
This is the parts list for it: http://download.partstown.com/is-bin/intershop.static/WFS/Reedy-PartsTown-Site/-/en_US/manuals/SC-DC33_pm.pdf
It is common to see the condenser dirty causing a overheat to the fan motor. One can lubricate the cast shunt wound watt motor by poking a hole in the top of the aluminum rear cap with a scribe or dry-rock screw 1/8 inch from the rear edge and use a tube oil bottle to add oil and re-wet the felt inside with machine oil. Make sure to vacuum out the condenser coil from the front..
